Splashball -8 and under boys and 8 and under girls Monday/Wednesday 6:15-7:00 PM (We highly recommend rash guards or spring wet suits on cold nights and please come in warm clothes.) (Rec Pool)
10 and Under Boys and 10 and Under Girls – Monday/ Wednesday 6:30 PM- 7:45 PM (Rec Pool)
and Tuesday from 6:30-7:45 PM in the competition pool.

Bridge Program for 8th Grade Girls– This program is by invite only. Times and Location TBD.
Our bridge program is for our advanced 8th-grade boys. This program is designed to fully immerse athletes into high-level high school play. We want these boys not just prepped for high school but prepped to enter high school as impact players. Coach Tawney is the Director and Coach Mike Assist in determining who is invited to attend.

All Practices are currently scheduled at the Ventura Aquatic Center. Make sure your athlete has a competition-style suit, goggles, and a cap or hair tie if needed. We often do dryland before we hop in. Please send athletes in comfortable clothes with their suits underneath.

Ventura Youth League Game Schedule (Included in Spring)
Expect two games on each play date. We have taken on the responsibility to host, and games will be local this season. (at Rio Mesa or Oxnard High School) Times are TBD. League Schedule is usually finalized the Thursday before each Saturday. We will offer a snack bar for some dates and ask for parent help.

Players and families may sign up for the program they feel best fits their player’s ability; however, final placement on teams and in practice groups will be at the coach’s and technical director’s discretion based on the team or practice squad that they feel is most appropriate for that player’s long-term development. Additionally, players may be placed above or below their current age group based on this evaluation and their ability.
REMINDERS:
- Every athlete must be registered with USA Water Polo Insurance www.usawaterpolo.org. We are Club #10. Each athlete needs at least a Bronze Level for insurance. (most travel tournaments require silver level and any national levels including Junior Olympics require Gold Level.) There is no-cost 2-week trial insurance available.
- Gold Coast Aquatics is an approved Independent Study PE option. Please email Mike or Mary if you need documents to support this.
